Food manufacturers use refined sugar, salt, monosodium glutamate, preservatives, steroids, trans fats and other unhealthy preservatives to prolong the shelf life of their food products. The more things you do to a natural ingredient like a fruit or vegetable, the further you remove its nutritional value. When all the nutritionally poor ingredients mentioned above are added to that product, it becomes even more unhealthy.

So clearly, a change in our way of eating is necessary – and one of the healthiest diets is one that’s at least 75% raw, living foods. By eating a diet high in raw foods, you’ll be eliminating high-fat, high sodium and highly processed foods. You can eat a lot more because the foods are naturally low in calories – no more ‘fake’ chemical sweeteners to lower calorie counts. Eating more raw vegetables and fruits, along with drinking plenty of water, will help you have more energy and feel less tired. All those processed, high-fat foods take so much energy to digest; they leave you feeling tired and sluggish. You’ll find that as your body uses less energy digesting the food, you’ll have more energy for work, play, and exercise. You’ll see a noticeable improvement in your life.The idea that your diet can affect the way you feel isn’t a new concept, and you don’t have to make hugely drastic changes to your lifestyle.
