“Third Space has provided close to 2000 free counselling sessions to UBC Okanagan students over the past two years”, explains Executive Director, Jody Pihl. “Student demand for counselling support is vast and our team has a solid plan to build capacity through expanded services in 2020 to meet this critical need.”

Third Space has a dedicated counselling space in the student union building on campus and the team offers counselling services 6 days a week, days, evenings and on Saturdays.
100% of funds raised will go to supporting the mental health of students at UBCO. Third Space is offering donors a matching gift opportunity at this event as all funds raised will be matched, dollar for dollar, by the Stober Family Foundation.

This event would not have been possible without the generous support of Pushor Mitchell LLP, RBC, RBC Dominion Securities and UBCO Faculty of Health and Social Development.

Third Space Life Charity is a registered charity focused on filling gaps in mental health care in our community. Third Space also offers subsidized access to counselling services to hundreds of community members through its Community Care Program, located at Landmark II in Kelowna.

Mental health and hope. For everyone. https://www.thirdspacecanada.org/
