Jack’s Winter Wonder Bar is Popping Up on Bernard Avenue This Holiday Season
Downtown Kelowna’s Top Cocktail Bar is bringing Christmas a month early to this Bernard Avenue hot spot, Nov. 26 through Dec. 26.
Jack’s is transforming their space into a Christmas Experience like no other where guests will celebrate the holiday season with great food and exceptional cocktails all in a space created by designer Erin van den Brink.
After just completing her own home tour for Homes for the Holidays, Erin van den Brink is now busy transforming Jack’s into a winter wonderland, hanging Christmas lights and decorations from floor to ceiling with a guarantee that there will be tinsel everywhere.
“We are excited to have a creative team that are not just bringing you a winter wonderland space to enjoy but our talented bar team and brand new Chef have designed menus that fit with the 70’s vibe that is Jack’s on Bernard,” comments Casey Greabeiel, co-owner Jack’s on Bernard.
“Our entire team is looking forward to sharing this brand new Jack’s experience with you.”
Griffin Cox, Jack’s Bar Manager has created four craveable cocktails that will be served in festive holiday glassware that are not only tasty but perfect for posting to instagram.
In addition to the four featured cocktails Jack’s new chef has revamped the menu. The culinary program is going in a completely different direction from the pizza’s Jack’s has been well known for.
Chef Konstantin Chakhnov, formerly of Canada’s only Five Diamond Restaurant, Eden at the Rimrock, has taken the helm at Jack’s and his Christmas menu will be an eclectic mix of small plates that will tickle all five taste sensations and satisfy any appetite. Chef Kon’s goal is to have his small plates menu match the quality of ingredients as well as the beautiful aesthetic of the cocktails that Jack’s has long been known for.
“My goal in coming to Jack’s is to have the food program match the drink program. We want our guests to expect a similar culinary experience as they receive in our other restaurant, Salt & Brick but in a completely different atmosphere, notes Chef Konstantin Chakhnov. “The food is going to be elevated yet approachable and we are planning on adding a dash of the fun loving atmosphere Jack’s is well known for to the mix.”
Additionally to help local charity Mamas for Mamas, Jack’s will be taking donations (food, needed items and monetary donations) for Mamas for Mamas throughout the Wonder Bar Pop Up. Furthermore, people can donate between $5-$20 per customer at the end of their visit and Jack’s will match it in gift cards for your next visit to Jack’s.

The Winter Wonder Bar at Jack’s on Bernard will run from Nov. 26 until Dec. 26. Reservations are available for groups of 2, 4 and 6 on their website.
