Canada’s Country Stars Jess Moskaluke and Ben Klick Team Up to help end MS

Inaugural “Music Fest MS – Presented by: BMO Bank of Montreal”, May 5, 2019, will help end MS.

Juno and Canadian Country Music Award Winner, Jess Moskaluke and BCCMA Award and International Country Music Award winner, Ben Klick, will take to the Kelowna Community Theatre Stage on Sunday, May 5, for the first annual Music Fest MS concert, with all proceeds being donated to the MS Society of Canada.

Klick, a resident of West Kelowna, was inspired to organize Music Fest MS after his father was recently diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. MS is an autoimmune disease of the central nervous system that can effect vision, balance and coordination, mobility, energy, memory, and mood amongst other symptoms. 77,000 Canadians live with MS, and currently there is no cure.

“My family has always been super close. Once we got the news, I knew I had to do something to help. So I made a few calls to some friends within the community in the Okanagan and the Canadian Country Music industry with an idea, and everyone I asked was ready to help in whatever way they could”, states Klick.

Multiple sponsors have come on board to support Ben’s goal of $50,000: The presenting sponsor BMO Bank of Montreal, along with DKL Financial Services Inc., Sun Life Financial, New Country 100.7, Harmony Honda, Ex Nihilo Vineyards, Delta Grand Resort and Hotel, Wentworth Music, Manchester SPG, BNA Brewing Co., and more.

“Fundraising in any capacity for the MS Society has always been a huge part of my life. I’m thrilled to be a part of Music Fest MS, and can’t wait to see what great things will come out of it!” – Jess Moskaluke

Klick says, “The response from the community has been incredible. The idea is to continue to help build a strong community around MS and to support those diagnosed with the disease and their caregivers. Fight, Play, Feel, Live is our slogan and I’m looking forward to bringing the country music family together with the Okanagan community.”
