FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
SEPTEMBER 8TH, 2023

When we all as a community watch with despair, horror & wonder, watching a fire that lights up the midnight sky, it bonds us… for life.

We all remember how we felt, who we were with & how others made us feel.  The fires have been & are devastating. They impact many areas, businesses & have taken money right out of people’s pockets.

Brad Krauza with Gonzo Okanagan is no stranger to fundraisers for others & he plans on raising funds and splitting the funds in half for The West Kelowna Fire Fighters Charitable Fund while the other half will be shared with local musicians who will be playing at the event.

Krauza said he asked local musicians who were all affected by the fires & there wasn’t a band or a musician that didn’t lose a gig & he’s hoping to support a few that need it.

Donate to our local musicians! Scan the code or, click on it or the link to the right of it and it will take you right to the donate to local musicians tab. All the proceeds from this total will be divided between all the musicians who will be donating their time for the cause on Sept 17th, 2023!

Krauza says he’s so impressed with what the fire fighters are doing & have done in the valley over the decades that he’s lived here and thanks them for their tireless efforts & hopes a few of them may stop by to be thanked & shake some hands during our event.
