Le Blanc Spa Resorts All Inclusive Luxury For An Adults Only Escape to Los Cabos

By Marc Smith.

Excuse me, I need to contact my butler to change out my pillows and to draw me a bath with my favourite bath salts. Am I a Diva? Yes but no, I am staying at one of the best all inclusive resorts in Los Cabos, Le Blanc Spa and Resort and butler service is just one of the many amenities included in my stay.

It’s been a very snowy winter so far and an escape to the always sunny Baja California Sur is just what the doctor ordered. From the moment I stepped off the plane thoughts of shovelling snow melted away. The first order of business is to collect the luggage, avoid the gauntlet of transportation solicitors and find our hotel shuttle driver. PRO TIP: prearranged transfers to your hotel are always less expensive than the airport drivers.

Of course I couldn’t resist a welcome Corona for the drive to the resort. Next stop check in.

Check-in, Rooms and Location

The adults only Le Blanc Spa and Resort is equal distance from Cabo San Lucas and San Jose Del Cabo and approximately 30 minutes from the airport. The view from 98% of the rooms is 100% Pacific Ocean for as far as the eye can see.

Upon arrival your bags are unloaded and taken directly up to your room while you check in. A quick and painless experience that includes a welcome drink and heated shoulder pillow to help you begin your vacation destress. Once your Le Blanc band is on your wrist your floor butler escorts you directly to your room and gives you a tour of all the offerings, amenities and services included in your stay.

I absolutely loved my butler and took full advantage of the services offered. I downloaded the Le Blanc App so I could communicate with them at the touch of a button. Some of the services I used included ordering my preferred pillow type from the Comfort Menu, ordering a nightly bath with scented bath salts, setting the aromatherapy diffuser with my preferred scent and booking my Hydrotherapy appointment along with dinner reservations. Is this how the rich and famous live?

Spa and Relaxation

As the resort is adults only the four pools offer something for everyone. Two pools are heated and two are not so you can pick the pool and the temperature that is right for you. The infinity pool faces the beach and is heated with waiters that are happy to bring your drinks right to you. You never have to leave the water unless you want to.

There are pool cabanas for those that desire a little shade with their pool time and they come with dedicated waiter service (there may be a slight surcharge here depending on the cabana choice).

So many pools to choose from! Photo credit: Marc Smith.

The resort also offers a top notch fitness room filled with all the latest equipment and there are morning yoga classes that you can also take if you are an early riser.

The amenity I love is the Water Journey and it is 100% complimentary and can be done every single day of your stay. Inspired by Greco-Roman baths it is a great way relax and recharge. The water journey is a guided experience:

• Begin your hydrotherapy with a quick shower
• Detox your body using the sauna and steam rooms
• Depart the heat and enter our ice room.
• Continue with a refreshing shower
• Relax in our whirlpool tub
• Cool yourself with an aromatic facial towel
• Immerse in the cool and warm pools
• Finish with another quick shower
• Pause after each cold and hot phase with a refreshing drink of tea or chlorophyll water

If a deeper spa experience is what you are after they have that as well. Massages, facials, manicures and pedicures, they have it all.

Food and Beverage

After staying at a few all inclusive resorts before I would definitely rate the dining and drinking opportunities at Le Blanc as some of the best. There are 8 restaurants to choose from and 6 bars that include 2 swim up bars at the pools.

Everything at Le Blanc is premium and that extends to the bar that is included in your room.

Over the course of my stay I experienced all of the a la carte restaurants (Lumiere, Blanc Asia, Blanc Italia, Blanc Ocean, Mezze and the Blanc Cafe). French, Italian, Asian and even Lebanese cuisine is available along with the traditional Mexican dishes you would expect.

My favourite? It would completely depend on my day and mood. I loved them all and the pictures show you why.

Activities

You don’t book an all inclusive resort to be out and about everyday, but should you feel the desire to explore all the that Los Cabos has to offer you your stay at Le Blanc includes a resort credit they call Blanc Benefits. These can be used for a whole array of activities and services that include spa treatments, photography, and a selection of tour activities that the resort concierge can book for you.

Some of those activities include snorkeling with Whale Sharks, horseback riding on the beach, ATV tours and a day trip to the small town of Todos Santos. Stay tuned for my next story with a sneak peak at some of those adventures.

If you are looking for an adult only luxury vacation at an all inclusive resort I can’t say enough about Le Blanc Spa and Resort Los Cabos. This location has only been open for 2 years and it is just going to continue to get better and better.

I can’t wait to go back, my butler is waiting for me.
