Co-Founders Cameron Smith and Dana Ewart to continue leading Joy Road.

Cocktails and Canapes Catering and Events, one of the Lower Mainland’s most well-loved catering companies, today proudly announced they have acquired Joy Road Catering, the Okanagan’s premier boutique caterer. The friendly transaction happened after careful deliberation from Joy Road Catering’s co-founders, Cameron Smith and Dana Ewart, to ensure they found the best family to continue their business legacy in the Okanagan.

“We made the decision to sell to Brett Turner and Olivia Fobert of Cocktails and Canapes because their fundamental values align with ours,” said Joy Road Catering co-founders Cameron Smith and Dana Ewart. “Upon thoughtful review of several great options, we felt Brett and Olivia were the perfect fit to continue delivering the locally-sourced, community-minded, high-quality catering experience the Okanagan has come to know and love about Joy Road Catering.”

All staffing, menu items, and any other services are unchanged and co-founders Cameron Smith and Dana Ewart will remain in their same operational and leadership role for at least the next year. All customers, clients and anyone with bookings in 2019 can rest assured that it’s business as usual. Current vendors and suppliers will continue to support Joy Road in its day-to-day operations.
