Cultural Plan Highlight: Share our story
This month, we are featuring Cultural Plan Strategy 8.1: Highlight the successes of Kelowna’s creative sector.
Initiatives that support this strategy will increase awareness among residents, businesses and within the creative sector itself, about the positive impacts the sector has on our community and quality of life.
Here’s some ways you can support this strategy:
- Acknowledge the contributions of non-profit organizations and local artists in community reports and newsletters.
- Share your positive arts and culture experiences on social media.
- Read about the prestigious award nomination for Colleen Fitzpatrick, Executive Director of the Rotary Centre for the Arts in this newsletter.
We all have a role to play, what’s yours? Learn more at kelowna.ca/culture.
