CELEBRATE FATHER’S DAY

Father’s Day is quickly approaching and local breweries, cideries, distilleries and wineries are set to roll out the carpet for Dads. Some options:

Summerland

Haywire Winery
Okanagan Crush Pad closed its doors in 2022 and after extensive construction reopened with a new name as Haywire Winery. The bold new Haywire label heralds a return to the winery’s roots with the wine that started the journey in 2009. After 11 years of running Canada’s first purpose-built custom crush winemaking business successfully, the team is saying goodbye to its original business model by renaming to Haywire Winery.

It sports a new 1,500-square-foot modern tasting lounge, which is adjacent to the crush pad and wine cellar, giving visitors ringside seats to the winemaking action while allowing the Haywire team to serve visitors in comfort year-round.

Father’s Day is perfect to check out the chic winery lounge for ‘Charcuterie and Wine’. Treat Dad to the most epic charcuterie in the valley by booking your Haywire Portfolio tasting and adding on a delicious board packed full of meats and cheeses.

Tour the Vineyard: Does Dad fancy himself to have a bit of a green thumb? The vineyards and vistas tour could be just the experience he’s looking for. Learn about our commitment to organic farming, focus on sustainability and the rewards that come with it. Finish up with a delicious tasting in our new lounge.

You’ll also find Father’s Day bundles of wine: Bold BBQ Red – Six Bottles from Narrative; and Pinot-Lover’s Delight – Cool Climate Pinot Noir to enjoy and compare.
