GET YOUR TICKETS HERE for Auroara Leigh’s powerful debut musical performance as she takes the stage to share her incredible healing journey through music. At age 14, Auroara experienced being targeted by human traffickers along the Highway of Tears. Following her performance are the feature short documentaries Adaawk, and I am Okanagan.

“A-Dow-ick” (Oral history) is a moving documentary that gives a glimpse into the lives of loved ones that are missing and murdered along the infamous Highway of Tears. Family members courageously share their stories while dealing with grief and loss.

N’ca qn S’ookanaqinx – I Am Okanagan, filmed in 2004, takes a contemporary look celebrating the strength, culture and history of the Okanagan people. Through interviews, hear positive stories illustrating a beautiful tribute to the Syilx spirit of the Okanagan people. 

Proceeds will be given to Jewels Of Hope and Archway Society for Domestic Peace.

This evening is dedicated to raising awareness about the disproportionate impact and the truths behind Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirits (MMIWG2S).
