Apple just unveiled a yellow iPhone 14 and 14 Plus

Apple released a new color scheme for its flagship iPhone 14 and 14 Plus devices. Unlike the standard color scheme, this variant won’t be available for the Pro models and will only ship with the base iPhone 14/14 Plus smartphones.

The yellow adds a nice pop of color which may suit younger generations better. For others, it might be the perfect spring accessory and a gadget that makes a statement. If you are not a fan of the yellow, you can choose from the black, blue, purple, white, and red iPhone 14 and 14 Plus devices.

As a reminder, this is not the first yellow iPhone we have seen on the market. Apple did that in 2019 with the release of the iPhone 11 and before that with the yellow iPhone XR. The 11 in yellow was a successor of the XR, which launched a year earlier (in 2018).

Apple also introduced several new spring-themed Watch band colors and silicone phone cases. The new phone, band, and case models don’t come with any changes but are clearly part of Apple’s strategy to sell more phones during a slower season following the holiday rush. The bright yellow iPhone can be pre-ordered starting from March 10th.

For those new to the flagship series, the iPhone 14 and 14 Pro/Pro Max models originally arrived last September. Apple has since updated its 14 lineups with a number of new features, so the latest smartphones in the series pack a satellite connectivity feature that lets you contact emergency responders.
