CBC British Columbia’s Digital Open House and Food
Bank Day is Tomorrow

WHAT: On Friday, December 4, 2020, CBC Vancouver’s annual Open House and Food Bank Day returns with a virtual twist. The day will feature a full day of special programming on CBC Radio One in support of Food Banks BC and digital meet and greets with CBC personalities.
In adherence to physical distancing protocols and to promote public safety, the CBC Vancouver building will not be open to the public for tours or live broadcasts this year.
Donations can be made and are being accepted online right now at cbc.ca/foodbankday.

Radio One broadcasts – 5 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- The Early Edition with Stephen Quinn Featuring interviews with Christopher Gaze from Bard on the Beach, Maiko Yamamoto and James Long from East Van Panto, Vancouver Mayor Kennedy Stewart and musical guests Bif Naked, Desiree Dawson and Katherine Penfold from 5 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.
- BC Today with Michelle Eliot & North by Northwest with Sheryl MacKay Featuring interviews with members of B.C.’s art community, Master Gardener Brian Minter and Premier John Horgan and musical guests Alex Cuba, Jim Byrnes, Dakota Bear and June Goldsmith from noon to 3 p.m.
- On The Coast with Gloria Macarenko Featuring interviews with athlete Malindi Elmore, illustrator Pearl Low, award-winning choreographer Margaret Grenier and musical guests Michael Kaeshammer, Chor Leoni, Saltwater Hank and Hayley Sales from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
