Welcome to My House – Flo Rida Brings Club Atmosphere to Penticton concert
Pop rapper superstar had a good time pulling crowds on stage and going into the audience but Flo Rida’s concert did lack a bit of flow

There were some apple bottom jeans, some boots with the fur but definitely the whole club was looking at Flo Rida when he hit the floor and got low, low, low in Penticton.
It was hard to tell who was having more fun – Flo Rida or the pumped up crowd at the South Okanagan Events Centre on Thursday night.

Flo Rida has more than a dozen top 10 massive hits like Low, Wild Ones, My House, Good Feeling, Club Can’t Handle Me, I Don’t Like It, I Love it and Whistle. With that many hits, his fan base is huge and ranges from tweens to Generation X.
The crowd in Penticton was mainly young and with KnowleDJ and Mellocat opening the evening mixing the tunes and getting the audience pumped up and dancing. It felt like being in a really fun and wild night club all night long.
KnowleDJ and Mellocat with her violin did a great job, making the night electric with good energy.

Flo Rida showed Penticton he knows his craft well as an entertainer and kept the audience on their feet, waving their hands and dancing the night away. He had tons of energy, and brought the fans with him for the ride all night long both on stage and going around the arena.
Fun Fact: Flo Rida is the US state name Florida separated. Flo Rida (real name Tramar Dillard) is from Florida.
So here comes the criticism.
Flo Rida had no flow!
Every time he would start singing one of his hit songs, the crowd would go absolutely wild – then he’d stop the momentum in its track.
He’d say, ‘hold up, just wait a minute’ and then call fans on stage or go out into the crowd before starting the song over again. It made for a confusing stop and start feel to the concert.
Also, the sound system at the SOEC wasn’t the best which was no fault of Flo’s.
All in all – we danced, we sang, we had our hands in the air for a Good Feeling.
