The Show Must Go On!
Concert announcement. (That is something you don’t hear often enough these days!) For some of us live music and crowded venues feel like distant memories. But good news! On Thursday, October 22 a small part of that experience will be brought to your living room, virtually, thanks to event producer Kris Hargave and Music BC’s Let’s Hear It! Live showcase.
Watch Okanagan bands Post Modern Connection, Mother Sun, and Jodie B w/ Nique Blue, play the iconic Kelowna Actors Studio stage for a special night of music. The show will be premiered and streamed in its entirety this Thursday night.
“I knew I wanted to record in a venue that was unique, something that people would be like, wow, that’s in Kelowna?! The Actors Studio definitely delivered. Music lovers are yearning for live shows, and while this isn’t quite the same, I really wanted this show to be special. It has been a tough year for the music industry and we are all going to need to get creative in developing more opportunities for artists.”

Let’s Hear It! Live is a concert series that brings together artists, local creatives, and local music fans with the aim to connect some of BC’s top emerging acts with opportunities to further their musical careers and showcase their music to the public. Now presented online, organizers are excited to be presenting this event for the first time in Kelowna from The Kelowna Actors Studio in partnership with Hubbub Live, Creative BC and SoundON BC.
