Microsoft’s High-End Surface Book 2 Arrived, And Here Is Our First Impression
As much as we don’t like to say it this way….
The Microsoft Surface Book 2 has arrived, and it is the MacBook in the Windows light. In other words, the Surface Book 2 looks a lot like the Apple laptop, but is way ahead of it when it comes to actual performance.
A Laptop For Your Office, And A Tablet On-The-Go
For starters, the Surface Book 2 is the most powerful Surface device yet, and it easily blows away all the previous versions. It is a heavy base, with a massive processor and graphics card, and has a surprisingly light removable screen, that transforms to a tablet whenever you need one.
The quality of construction is what makes it even more interesting. For those who don’t know, this laptop lives and breathes metal – and the firm touch is present everywhere from the Escape to the Enter key.
It is also important to note that Microsoft made the Surface Book 2 shine: A touch sensitive, bright screen; and a resolution of 3240×2160. This is what makes the Surface Book 2 boast an excellent pixel density (even more than the MacBook Pro).
At The End Of The Day, It’s A Choice That Depends On The Ecosystem
The final verdict on this latest piece of technology is simple: It’s the best Microsoft laptop ever built – and probably the highest-performance Windows machine out there. And, while Microsoft lovers will be blown away, Apple fans will still praise their MacBooks, mostly because of the ecosystem they are in.
Which is actually our main point here…
As much as we want to skip on the entire ‘Surface vs. Macbook Pro’ discussion, it’s a fact that these laptops are the most powerful in their (highest) class. So at the end of the day, you can choose one you’re most comfortable with, and know that you are making a great choice.
