Local Hard Rock Teen Trio, Freeze the Fall, Reveals Riveting New Track: “Broken Glass”

Kelowna-based alt-heavy rock trio Freeze the Fall unleash their latest single and video, “Broken Glass”, taken from their upcoming debut EP, THRONES.

Drawing inspiration from both their surroundings and musical icons like Spiritbox and Bring Me the Horizon, the wickedly talented teenage three-piece—17-year-old Quinn Mitzel (vox/guitar), 16-year-old Jonah Goncalves (drums), and 15-year-old Aria Becker (bass/vox)—have been making waves since their debut single earlier this year.

Accompanied by a captivating new music video, “Broken Glass” finds the dedicated young band continuing to shatter preconceptions, steadily amassing an international fanbase with their striking sonic maturity, compelling lyrical narratives, and edgy, hard-hitting bangers.

Speaking on their latest single, the band shares, “This song is about people taking what isn’t theirs. It’s a reflection on people taking credit for ideas or work they didn’t participate in. This wasn’t a specifically personal story for any one of us, but more about that experience we have all had at one point or another, where you feel like you worked hard and then someone else tries to stand in your light. ‘I never saw you there, When we stood on broken glass.’ It speaks to the frustration we can feel when someone isn’t there for the hard part but tries to take credit for the win away from you.”
