HodgePodge: Shortest Hodge podge ever

Shortest Hodge podge ever

HodgePodge by Charlie Hodge

This is likely my shortest column ever written in the past 40 years.

Why?

Well, for a couple of reasons, including I’m tired, it’s past deadline, I need to work again way, way too early in the morning – and the other answers are really simple.

Who will win the next NHL playoff round?

Silly HodgePodge prediction…Toronto defeats Florida Panthers in seven games – despite overcoming goalie injury caused by goon Florida player.

Edmonton beats Vegas in a shocking six games. McDavid and Draisaitl wake up and clean up.

Colorado plays brilliantly and edges Washington and Ovechkin in five.

Dallas is scary, vicious and good; however, Winnipeg remains focused and wins in seven games.

***

Next question.

Who won the election?

If you mean the Canadian election? The Canadians did.

Trump’s tariffs and intent on taking over Canada gave Canadians a reason to focus and actually vote.

He should have let the happy dog sleep.
