Ford Explorer 2023: Range, Powertrain and Engine Options
Ford hasn’t yet confirmed the Explorer’s range, but it is anticipated to be offered with either a 52kWh or a 77kWh pack. As a result, you may anticipate the Explorer to have a range of 250–300 miles.
What Ford already revealed, however, are the details of charging. Using a DC fast charger, the Explorer can charge from 10% to 80% in just 25 minutes.
A single motor will be offered for the new Ford Explorer’s rear wheels, or two motors will be available for all-wheel drive. Although the power has not been confirmed, entry-level SUVs like this typically have about 150 horsepower, while top-of-the-line vehicles might have 265 horsepower.
With first deliveries anticipated before the end of the year, the new Ford Explorer will go on sale near the end of the summer.
