Fill the Car For Christmas was a success!

Today we headed over to Elite Auto Centre today at 1:30 pm to give away a (new to her) car today in hopes to brighten up this single mom from Penticton and her 2 daughters day who lost their little 1 year old son and brother Mercury this summer after our Music Industry Golf Tournament.

WE NEVER GAVE UP!
Thanks to Elite Auto Centre, we finally made it happen. We can’t thank their GM, Mark McCafferty and his team, enough for having it as a top priority. We could tell that they really cared and wanted to make this happen for the family (one heck of a nice guy right there!). Mark actually had it on his office computer home screen as a reminder that it top of the list! Thank you Mark and the awesome team at Elite Auto Centre!

Thanks to Jaylo Auto Parts for finding the vehicle and Napa Auto Parts for supplying the parts and again to Elite Auto Centre for the inspection and putting everything all together for this!

Thank you to Dionne Loewen (Queen Of Credit) and her son Daniel who donated the $500 gift card at Costco. We managed to buy lots of presents for the girls and to FILL THE CAR! <3

Thank you to our great friend who also has a heart of gold, Shannon Henningham, for doing the shopping at Costco for us and also getting the very nice gift for the mom, Cindy, which was kindly donated by Amora Day Spa.

Thank you to our local friends, Calum Hughes who made a donation this summer to our golf tournament and said he had a little more for when we get the vehicle confirmed! Calum Huges from Advance Micro gathered up $250 as well as Nicki Huges from The Orchard Urban Deli for a total of $500 to help pay for her insurance today!

We also had a last minute donation of $200 from Scott & Aura Evans of $200 which will go towards her insurance as well! Thank you so much.

Here’s a glimpse of today’s fun, giving the car and presents to the family. The little girls were sure excited!

Brad Krauza - Publisher
Publisher and CEO. First & foremost, father, son, brother and uncle. I am also a huge music fan, promoter and marketing & promotions maniac. As a fulltime musician for the past 35 years myself (yikes, that’s a long time!), I’ve come to appreciate the fact that I am able to perform and sing for people and in return, them enjoy it as much as I do. There is something to be said for that exchange of energy and good vibes that live music brings to all, from the stage to the seats, there is nothing like it and I so look forward to feeling that again when we are out of this crazy mess we are in. Music is needed desperately in everyone’s lives. The goal is to reach out and bring some awareness and light into the music scene by featuring their new music, events and in general, some light into the changes we’ve all had to adjust to in 2020. We all feel the strain in every aspect of these changes and are going to try to do our best to fill our cups up with some fantastic local music while many so of us hang on through this bumpy ride we are on. ? Making an effort to change our own thoughts and habits, can strike a chord mentally and change us along with our communities lives. Be safe and…let’s ROCK N ROLL!
