Dreams Come True for Young Rock Band with Launch of Debut EP, THRONES
Kelowna, BC – July 30, 2024 – Freeze the Fall, a burgeoning force in Kelowna’s rock music scene – and beyond, proudly announces the imminent release of their debut EP, THRONES, featuring the single One Left Standing, debuting on July 31, 2024 on all streaming platforms.
The EP signifies a major milestone for the band, who first stepped onto a stage together in January 2023. Featuring Quinn (17) on lead vocals & guitar, Aria (15) on bass guitar & backup vocals, and Jonah (16) on drums, Freeze the Fall has embarked on an extraordinary journey to bring their musical aspirations and passion for hard rock – to life.
Having just celebrated their two year anniversary coming together as a power trio, Freeze the Fall has quickly distinguished themselves across an international fanbase with their dynamic blend of hard-hitting basslines, drum-driven rock riffs, and captivating melodies complemented by soulful harmonies.
A lot has happened for the young rockers since they first walked into the recording studio in the fall of 2023. They’ve released five original songs into the world, played on some of Kelowna’s most sought after stages, broken into the Vancouver live music scene, amassed over 200,000 views on YouTube and signed a record distribution deal with Canada’s largest indie label, 604 Records. And it’s only the beginning for this hard working young band.
“We’re profoundly thankful to our fans and supporters who took a leap of faith and made this EP possible through their generosity and belief in our music,” expresses the band. “Their contributions, coupled with the support of local industry talents, have turned our dream into reality.”
From the outset, Freeze the Fall has been dedicated to collaborating with local artists and professionals from Kelowna’s vibrant music and arts scene for every facet of the EP’s creation, including original artwork, music production, photography, and video direction. This commitment has resulted in a top-tier album that showcases the richness of talent within their community.
The official music video for their newest single, One Left Standing, will premiere on the band’s YouTube channel at 10:45 am the same day as the album release, July 31st.
