Dine Around Okanagan set to kick off
The British Columbia Restaurant and Foodservices Association (BCRFA) is excited to bring back the popular DINE AROUND: Sip, Savour, Stay and Save. The Festival sponsored by Tourism Kelowna and Kelowna Hotel Motel Association kicks off with a launch party on Tuesday, January 17 with the festival taking place Wednesday, January 18 and runs through February 9, 2023. There are less than 50 tickets remaining for the launch party, where attendees can sample some of the dishes presented during the festival, paired with local beer and wine. The Launch Party is taking place January 17 from 6:30pm-8:30pm at Metro HUB and tickets must be purchased in advance online at DINE AROUND LAUNCH PARTY.
For the three weeks of the festival more than 70 restaurants throughout the BC Interior are featuring a three course menu for $25, $35, $45, $55 or $65 with suggested wine pairings or BC Craft Beer pairings. Guests can visit the participating restaurants and ask for their Dine Around menu, reservations are encouraged as more than 8000 people are expected to order these three course menus from January 18 – February 9. A list of participating restaurants and their menus can be viewed online at www.dinearound.caIn addition to Dining Around hotels are offering incredible stay packages within the BC Interior, some include dining credits to their on-site restaurants. For a list of hotels with links to their offers visit www.dinearound.ca.“This is one of our most popular programs that is win-win for our members and consumers; a great selection of restaurants are participating and consumers get great dinners at some of their favourite restaurants at a great value,” comments Ian Tostenson, President/CEO BC Restaurant and Foodservices Association. “We are also really happy to have hotel offerings to take advantage of, with many of us this is a great way to enjoy the region that you live in and take a staycation or take the elevator home after indulging in a great meal with fantastic local wines.”The BCRFA is also adding more incentive to the community to take in Dine Around by visiting participating restaurants January 18-February 9 scan the QR code on restaurant posters and complete the form to be entered to win $350 in restaurant gift cards.
