BGC Okanagan and the YMCA of Southern Interior BC share an exciting opportunity to be a part of Kelowna’s most iconic seasonal fundraising campaign – The Tree of Hope 25th Anniversary of Giving!
Donor support has helped provide life-changing programs and opportunities for children and youth who might not otherwise have had these experiences. By donating to the 2022 Tree of Hope campaign – your gift will have double the impact!
Your gift will:
- Remove financial barriers to BGC Okanagan and YMCA of Southern Interior BC programming for those who otherwise could not afford to participate.
- Provide safe, supportive places where children and youth can experience new opportunities, overcome barriers, build positive relationships, and develop skills for life.
- Give all families access to affordable child care.
- Ensure young people have the training and skills necessary to be successful in today’s workforce.
- Nourish children with breakfast programs, snacks and meals, as well as provide nutrition and food education.
- Support the mental health and resiliency of our young people through early-intervention and wellness services.
- Send a child to summer camp where kids will stay engaged, active, and learning while having fun.
This year, the Stober Foundation has generously committed to matching all funds raised during their Tree of Hope campaign (now until December 31, 2022) to support BGC Okanagan (formerly Boys and Girls Club) and – the YMCA of Southern Interior BC – both providing vital programs and services that build hope, resiliency and equal opportunities for children, youth and families.
