FEEL GOOD ABOUT INDULGING WITH NUMMERLAND FOR VALENTINE’S

By Roslyne Buchanan.

Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Nummerland of Summerland known for its authentic paletas has debuted its new delights – Choo chews and lollipops, made with real Okanagan fruit purees and natural ingredients such as organic cane sugar. A logical extension of the Nummerland line of paletas (popsicles true Mexican style), these treats contain no artificial colour nor preservatives.

Nummerland is found regularly at the Penticton Farmers Market, Okanagan wineries and events such as Rib Fest. I love to catch up with the company’s brain trust, sisters Carolynn Pawluk, Taste Maker-In-Chief, and Leanne, Sales and Marketing Maven.

I was offered a preview. Lolly flavours including peach ginger, haskap licorice, strawberry rhubarb, and sour cherry. There’s also a throat soother perfect for winter made with local honey, lemon and ginger, an espresso with Backyard Beans coffee, and a chai tea with classic Indian spices. Choo chews come in a variety of local berry and fruit flavours.
