Craft culture brings handmade to the Prospera place for the holidays

Year after year, customers are treated to a curated selection of modern wares that are lovingly handcrafted or designed by Canadian talent. Craft Culture carefully selects each vendor to ensure certain criteria and quality standards are met – a process which sets them apart from similar events in the community. Patrons arriving at Prospera Place have peace of mind knowing that the vendors at this market are the “best of the best”, and there is no need to look elsewhere.
While it is no secret that this event draws a large crowd, organizer Karalyn Lockhart wants to ensure customers that there systems in place to move lines along quickly, and quieter times to shop. “We would like to remind customers that we rarely see lineups in the afternoon. If at all possible, we encourage customers to arrive later in the day. We do have to comply with capacity regulations, and unfortunately are not able to let all of our eager and loyal customers in at once! If you would like to avoid the crowds, afternoons and Sundays are the best time to visit our event.”
In an effort to space out the crowds, extra incentives have been added. Customers arriving after 2:30pm on both days will be entered to win stay a grand prize from Predator Ridge Resort, including a one night stay in The Lodge with dinner and a round of golf. Stroller parking will be available by donation to the non-profit organization Her International, allowing families to navigate the event with ease. And to make the weekend more festive, Prospera Place will have a bar set up on the show floor, giving customers the opportunity to sip while they shop.
Admission is $5 per person and kids under 12 are free. Partial proceeds of all door sales will be donated to Mamas for Mamas. The first 50 people through the day both days receive a bag full of swag. Once inside, all customers can enter to win one of 40 amazing door prizes donated by vendors.
