Blasted Church Winery hosts sinful soiree
The 7 Deadly Sins party brought to life in array of experiences, foods and wine Saturday night

Pride, envy, gluttony, lust, greed, wrath and sloth will be on display at Blasted Church Winery’s 7 Deadly Sins Soiree of the Season taking place this Saturday night from 6 to 9 p.m.
On June 22, guests will indulge in a celebration of the seven sins, brought to life through an array of experiences, foods and performances amidst the stunning backdrop of Blasted Church’s setting in Okanagan Falls.
“The party is a great chance to bring everyone together for some fun, celebrate our cheeky brand, and taste some amazing wine,” said Blasted Church’s experience manager Lisa Baxter-Burke.
The party will be around the winery’s pool, with stations and activities to go with all of the seven sins.
“Without giving them all away, examples are a pie-eating contest for gluttony and a shooting range to get your anger out,” said Baxter-Burke.
The soiree gets going with the sounds of DJ Lady of the Mist, entertainment by Kinshira Entertainment Group and there will also be carnival games, roving circus acts and aerial performers on the winery’s patio.
Sinfully delicious small bites will be made by winery Chef John Burke paired with Blasted Church wines.
Guests are encouraged to dress up in their favourite deadly sin. Past costumes included dressing all in green for envy, or red for wrath or find your best way to express greed or lust. Last party there was a peacock for pride.
