Ben Klick is back on the road

The Guitar Pickin’ Country Gentleman, Ben Klick, is the 2022 BCCMA Interactive Artist of the Year and the Gold Medal Winning Musician for Best of Kelowna and he’s heading back out on the road this summer for his 2022 independently booked tour.

With dates recently announced in Cowichan Valley, Quesnel, Rock Creek, and Kamloops amongst others, there are a handful of local shows at various wineries, free outdoor events including hometown shows at:

  • July 8 – Peak Cellars Winery
  • July 15 – West Kelowna for Music in the Park
  • Aug. 4 – Vibrant Vine Winery
  • Aug. 5 – Live! in Lake Country
  • Aug. 6 – Camelot Vineyards
  • Aug. 27 – Michaelbrook Golf Course

“It’s been over 2.5 years since we’ve been out on the road.” states Klick, “And the band is rehearsed and ready to play!”

The band features long time member, Cyril Schermann, on bass guitar, and new members Austen Sawchuk on guitar and harmonies, and Scott Gamble on drums. The show takes audiences on a high energy, story-telling, country music journey.

Recently, Klick won the 2022 BC Country Music Award for Interactive Artist of the Year, as well as the Gold Medal in the “Best of Kelowna – Local Musician and Band” category. Additionally, Klick released a brand new single, “Girls”, to Canadian Country Radio which has over 16,000 streams in three weeks since it’s release.
