Art auction at Local winery will raise funds for Okanagan Symphony Orchestra
Grizzli Winery is excited to welcome the public to their newest Spring art rotation at their internationally renowned Grizzli Art Gallery, located inside of the winery’s 20,000 square foot tasting room.
The exhibition ‘IN HER EYES’ portrays the works of four Okanagan artists:
- Maggie Kozina | Abstract Artist
- Arlene Buick | Acrylic Artist
- Alice Tunnell | Mixed Media, Resin & Acrylic Artist
- Elizabeth Flesher | Acrylic Artist
Featuring abstract art, mixed media, resin and acrylic mediums, ‘IN HER EYES’ will be open to the public daily during regular tasting room hours from February 1 – May 28 2023, where the exhibition will rotate into their Summer Show.
‘IN HER EYES’ is about embracing individual perspective and seeing a story through someone else’s lens. It is about seeing colours that bring a sense of wonder and imagination; a peaceful moment where all of the world recedes; an inspirational feeling that fills the heart and opens our eyes to new beginnings.
Join them for the official Art Launch party in celebration of its opening! On March 11 from 4:00- 7:00pm, peruse the art as you’re serenaded by the Okanagan Symphony Orchestra Quartet.
Enjoy wine, light appetizers, a silent art auction and meet the artists behind the canvas. Included in the silent auction are four special pieces of art donated by the artists themselves and 100% of the proceeds go to the Okanagan Symphony Orchestra.

The OSO and Grizzli Winery – The Perfect Pairing:
We believe music and wine go together like wine and cheese. We’re better together.
The Okanagan Symphony Orchestra (OSO) is delighted to partner with Grizzli Winery as its Art Gallery Charity Partner for the 2023 season. The OSO is the third largest professional orchestra in BC. This professional ensemble has shared music experiences with Okanagan residents and visitors for more than 60 years, with Music Director Rosemary Thomson at the helm for more than 15 years.
In addition to the OSO’s many live public concerts, its community engagement programs bring unique music and learning experiences to preschoolers and their families through Symphony Storytime as well as to students and schools through its flagship Okanagan Symphony Youth Orchestra (OSYO), among other education programs.
A quartet of musicians from the OSO will perform at this season’s Spring Art Launch: ‘IN HER EYES’, the first of a three-part Art Launch series, on March 11 at Grizzli Winery from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. All proceeds from the Grizzli Winery’s Art Gallery events, including donations, raffles, and a percentage of art sales, will be donated to the OSO. Future events will include performances by both OSO and OSYO musicians.
