In support of BC Farmer’s Market Nutrition Coupon ProgramA Fundraiser in support of BC Farmer’s Market Nutrition Coupon Program. Barney and his gang have raised over $500 000 to date with his fundraising tour!Barney Bentall, a legend in Canadian Music, brings his annual tour with The Cariboo Express for the first time to Kelowna on November 24th to the Delta Grand Okanagan Hotel. This promises to be a great night of songs and stories. The Cariboo Express was born out of Barney Bentall’s love for the Cariboo region of BC and is the honorary birthplace of this long-running show. In doing a little at-home research on the area, Bentall came across the history of F.J. Barnard, and The B.X. Express, the main cartage and passenger services company on the Cariboo Road, also known as “Barnard’s Express”. So, in homage to the area and it’s rich history, Mr. Barnard Bentall saw fit to rename the traveling roadshow, The Cariboo Express.Other Tour dates, Venues and RecipientsNOVEMBER 2: LETHBRIDGE, ABSouthminster United Church, 1011 4th Avenue SouthDoors 7:00pm | Show 8:00pmTickets $40 + fees advance at CASA Arts Centre, Blueprint Records, Geomatic Attic or online, $45 at the door Presented by Mike Spencer/The Geomatic AtticNOVEMBER 3: CALGARY, ABStudio Bell at National Music Centre, 850 4th Street SEDoors 7:30pm | Show 8:00pmPRIVATE EVENT2nd Annual Peter Burgener Memorial ConcertNOVEMBER 4: CALGARY, ABMax Bell Theatre, 240 9th Avenue SEDoors 7:30pm | Show 8:00pmTickets $25-$75 + fees via boxoffice@artscommons.ca or call 403-294-9494Presented by Mawer Investment ManagementBenefitting Classroom ChampionsNOVEMBER 5: CRANBROOK, BCKey City Theatre, 20 14th Avenue NorthDoors 6:30pm | Show 7:30pmTickets $40 or $29 for seniors/children at keycitytheatre.com, phone 250-426-7006 or at the Box Office.
